Sometimes, deep in your heart, you feel so solitary. The "pull back" is that you are not alone, and in the midst of a stark winter scene, you have a magnificent color that only you can bring. (Full disclosure, I had today's subject in mind when I took this on New Years in the Tucson snow.)
